Leadership Development
Building holistic leaders at every level of the union, who carry the burden of the church of Christ, with servanthood conviction, resilience, integrity and who are vision oriented with impact in and outside the campus community.
Context & Trend
Leadership plays an important role in the building of the church and the nation as a whole. Our country, to some percentage, is an example of how poor governance and corruption can cause a country to regress instead of growing. Poor governance, corruption and misuse of government resources have been so normalized that nowadays they are being referred to as favors and connections.
It is important that the church steps in and take action on shaping proper leaders because the same students are the ones who will transit to become leaders of the country. Therefore, it is significant to equip every member with proper leadership skills rooted in God's Word so as to have well-grounded associates who will be of impact to the wider society in years to come.
In our constitution, one of our aims and objectives is to develop Christian leaders through leadership training and various capacity building forums, who will lead with courage, conviction, integrity, faithfulness and the fear of God. Joshua 1:9 — "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous..."
