Directing the activities of the music ministries, instruments and mentorship of the worship team.
Department History
It started in 2010 with the inception of the Christian Union. It did not start with its constitutional mandate but rather was more of a mere organisation. It is important to note that this ministry was not started with any instruments at all and at some points a keyboard would be borrowed to make the service lively, and sometimes the public address could be borrowed from the campus administration.
Current Activities
- Organising mentorship and training sessions for the members involved.
- Facilitate availability of and the management of instruments in the CU activities.
- Ensuring proper use and handling of instruments.
- Directing the activities of the music ministries.
Current Challenges
- Lack of spacious room for storing instruments.
- Poor quality instruments.
- Dominance by specific individuals thus hindering space for nurturing others.
- Poor handling of instruments due to few trained personnel.
- Insufficient number of instruments.
