Discipleship
To cultivate and nurture true disciples of Christ, who are deeply rooted in the scripture and portray Christ-like character.
Context & Trend
Discipleship is the heart of the church. It was given to us as a great commission, Matthew 28:19 — "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." It is our responsibility as Christians to fulfil the Great Commission just as indicated in our vision, "the center for nurturing true disciples of Jesus Christ."
The CU has made a crucial step in trying to embrace the mandate through in-reach and outreach in liaison with missions docket though faith foundation classes for new converts, discipleship classes for the continued growth of members, nurturing classes to cultivate the faith of new beginners in salvation alongside the fyt classes.
Despite all the attempts to achieve this vision, the CU still finds some limitations that need to be addressed. The programs implemented every week has registered low membership of those participating in these programs. We aim at transforming students into lifelong followers of Jesus Christ with deep scriptural foundation and uphold effectual prayers.
