Department History
Started in 2010 with the inception of the Christian Union though it did not fulfil its constitutional mandate by then and the main ministries involved were ushering and catering ministries until 2012 when the constitution structure was fully adopted.

Current Activities
- Preparation of venues where the services are to be held.
- Serving speakers and visitors with meals.
- Identifying Christians with dire needs and seeking to help them financially and any other way.
- Catering for any service that may be needed in the union.
Current Challenges
- Low turn up in the venue preparations.
- Little space for storage of the ministry's assets.
- Inadequate utensils and other items.
- Failure to refund the borrowed money by some individuals, limiting the efficiency and operation of the welfare ministry.
